James Holmes killed 12 and injured 70 in a mass shooting at the Century 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colorado on July 20, 2012. Holmes began planning the massacre in May of 2012. It is the biggest mass shooting in US history. He is facing 170 charges including murder and attempted murder charges. The youngest victim was only six years old.
